At Donor Heroes, we recognize the diverse challenges that individuals face in pursuing higher education, especially in the wake of personal loss. Our need-based scholarship stands as a beacon of hope, designed to alleviate the financial burdens associated with continuing education. Importantly, GPA or academic testing performance is not a determining factor in awarding this scholarship, emphasizing our belief in the intrinsic value of every aspiring scholar.

The application period will be from January 1st to March 31st each year. To be eligible, applicants must be under 25 years old and either a high school senior or already enrolled in a college, university, or trade school. Recipients of the scholarship can reapply in subsequent years if they maintain a passing grade point average.

The scholarship funds cover a spectrum of essential expenses, including tuition, room and board, books, computers, and other approved costs determined by the Donor Heroes Board of Directors. In most cases, the scholarship amount will be paid directly to the educational institution where the recipient is enrolled. However, if a scholarship is awarded but not utilized by an applicant prior to December 31st of the application year, it will expire.
